SAVE THE DATE...DSAF’s Sixth Annual Dinner Dance Fundraiser The Down Syndrome Advocacy Foundation was established in 2003, and has dedicated itself to advocating for inclusive opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome. In order for us to continue our ongoing meetings/conferences we rely on the support of the community we serve. Please join us on March 13th for a fun filled evening of dining, entertainment, raffles and auction items. If you can help with the planning of this event, we would be very grateful!
Free Training Workshop funded by the LIDDSO and hosted by the Franklin Square School District, Wednesday, August 27th Educating Students with Disabilities in Inclusive Settings This workshop is appropriate for educators, related service personnel, teaching assistants and parents. Please pass on to your school district personnel Future Meetings: September 20th: No Meeting – Enjoy Open School Night! November 20th: Addressing the Communicative needs of Children with Down syndrome December: No Meeting – Happy Holidays!

Note: Most meetings will be held the third Thursday of each month (except for the month of December and June). Individuals who would like to join DSAF will be asked to pay a nominal membership fee.
