Inclusion Models and Strategies for Successful Inclusion

Here on Long Island, more children are being educated in inclusive settings than ever before. Their success has been due to well planned programming and prepared professionals. This workshop will provide an overview of successful models, followed by a series of strategies to address curriculum modifications, in class accommodations, strategies to address challenging behavior, as well as strategies to include children with disabilities in extracurricular activities.

Functional Behavioral Assessment and Positive Behavior Supports

This workshop will provide practical strategies for assessing problem behavior and developing appropriate intervention plans.
